The Sundance 680 Series Peyton features a variety of ergonomic therapy seats so you can stretch out and let the warm water wash the stress away. There are 34 proprietary jets in the Peyton with 6 different massage styles.

Full Body Lounger

This luxurious seat is a customer favourite for a good reason! Lay back, relax, and let the proprietary jets work out muscle knots, aches and pains. Sitting in the Peyton’s comfortable, sculpted lounger you will experience the soothing sensation of warm water massaging your neck, back, calves and feet.

You can adjust the flow of water by turning the jet face, and you can use one of the 2 air controls to add air to the water to give you an even more powerful massage. The lounger also features a molded hand rail to help you up so that you can move safely to another seat or exit the spa.

Lounge seats are designed to give you a full body massage while you recline back with your feet up – What could be better?!

MicroClean Filtration System

Sundance Spas has a reputation for innovation and a history of industry firsts. Others try to imitate, but no other company can match the Sundance brand when it comes to delivering a phenomenal spa experience. A major factor in having an enjoyable hot tub experience is ensuring your spa has clean, clear water – No one wants to sit in gross, smelly spa water!

Since they started building spas in 1979, water purification has been a priority for Sundance Spas. Back in 1999, Sundance premiered the ISO-Pure Salt Water system and they have evolved their water treatment technologies over the years. Salt water is now an outdated technology that was replaced firstly with ozone and more recently with ClearRay UV-C Water Purification. ClearRay is an in-line UV system that takes all the heavy lifting out of hot tub water care. ClearRay is a standard feature on all acrylic Sundance Spas – not an expensive add-on like salt.

In addition to ClearRay, all Sundance Spas feature a form of MicroClean Filtration. The 680 series features the MicroClean Mini Filtration System, a unique 2 part filter that effectively filters dirt and debris from your spa water.

MicroClean Mini incorporates a large, horizontal pleated filter and an inner micro core that removes oils, lotions, sunscreens and tiny dirt particles too small for a standard pleated feature to deal with. This exclusive system reduces the amount of chemicals you need to add to your spa and reduces the amount of time spent on maintenance.

The MicroClean filter converts water passing over the extra-wide weir gate into filtered water, and then that filtered water passes through a quartz tube containing the ClearRay UV-C bulb which alters the DNA of bacteria so it can no longer live or reproduce in the spa. ClearRay and MicroClean combine to reduce the amount of chemicals required by more than 50%. Water care in a Sundance Spa is simple and effective – The spa works hard so you don’t have to!

Interior & Exterior LED Lights

Lighting can transform a living space and help set the desired mood, which is why luxurious LED lighting is included as standard on the Peyton spa.

Two elegant white LED lights adorn the exterior cabinet and the interior of the spa is surrounded with underwater multi-colour LED lights to illuminate your spa water and enhance the mood.

There are a number of light settings for you to choose from. You can select your own favorite solid colour, or have the lights cycle through the various colours.

Interior lighting is provided to not only to illuminate the water but to also provide a type of chromotherapy. Chromotherapy, also known as light therapy, is based on the idea that colours or coloured lights can help treat both physical and mental health.

Colours have certain biological and psychological effects on people. Here are some of the colours featured in the Peyton and their associated benefits:

Red: Red is believed to increase the pulse, raise blood pressure and increase the rate of breathing. Red would be applied to support circulatory and nervous functions. The colour red increases physical energy, stamina, spontaneity and even passion.

Blue: The colour Blue promotes a feeling of relaxation, and can exhibit tranquillizing qualities that are often used to relieve headaches and migraines, colds, stress, nervous tension, rheumatism, stomach pains, muscle cramps and liver disorders. Blue is thought to have a positive effect on all kinds of pain and can increase calmness, honesty and self-expression.

Green:  Green is the colour of nature and is associated with harmony. It provides a neutral, positive calming effect, helping to reduce stress and bring balance and a sense of relaxation.

Violet: Violet is a colour that is used to calm the nervous system, soothe organs and relax muscles. Violet has meditative qualities and is often used to treat conditions of the lymphatic system and spleen, as well as urinary disorders and psychosis. Violet stimulates intuition, imagination and artistic qualities.

White: Clear and pure, it rebalances the senses. It’s associated with regeneration and helps to reset the body’s internal rhythms. White light stimulates the production of serotonin, which helps to regulate sleep and the nervous system. Light boxes are often used in winter by those suffering from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder).
