Enjoy your Sundance Hot Tub In The Rain

The recent rainstorm here in Greater Toronto Area got us thinking about using your hot tub in the rain. Everyone enjoys using their Sundance Hot Tub on a sunny day or a clear, crisp night; but soaking in your Hot Tub in the rain can be a fantastic experience as well!

Have you ever been out swimming in the rain? There is something amazing about being out in a rainstorm and not getting wet from the rain, because you are already underwater.

When that water is the clean, clear, warm water of your Sundance Spas Hot Tub, it is even more enjoyable.

Never tried it? Here are some tips to make sure that your first Sundance hot tub soak in the rain is a memorable experience!

Embrace The Experience

Fully commit to the experience you are about to enjoy - psych yourself up for a good time! Yes, you are going to get wet from the rain, but most of your body is going to be submerged in beautiful hot water anyway.

There is something exhilarating about the contrast between the hot and cold temperatures that your body experiences when you are sat in your hot tub in the rain.

Try not to look at the rain as a negative, something that takes away from your time in your Sundance Hot Tub but rather see it as a positive, something that is going to enhance your experience and give you a story to tell your friends at work tomorrow!

Plan Ahead

Throw your towels and a robe in to the dryer for a few minutes before you go outside, so they are toasty warm for you after your soak, they will feel amazing as you dry off.

It's a good idea to wear some slippers or shoes to and from the Hot tub to make sure you don't slip in the rain, especially if there has been some freezing rain like we experienced recently.

An hour or so before you plan to use your Sundance Hot Tub, head out with a test strip and balance your water and add sanitizer if required to ensure everyone who uses the Hot Tub will be safe & comfortable.

For those family and friends who like the idea of a dip in the hot tub, but don't fancy having the rain drip down their face, have some baseball caps ready to go. If you are really planning ahead and want to create the opportunity for some hilarious social media pics, head to the store for some umbrella hats for everyone!

Enjoy a Warm Drink

A steaming warm drink will keep you feeling warm on the inside, just as your Sundance Hot Tubs water keeps you warm on the outside.

Take a thermos of tea or coffee out to the Hot Tub with you, or perhaps some delicious Hot Chocolate.

Once settled in to your Hot Tub and enjoying your glorious warm beverage, be sure to post some selfies so your friends who can't be there know exactly what they are missing!

Get Comfy & Enjoy!

So now your Hot Tub is balanced and ready to go, you have a lovely hot drink to add to the experience and you know you have lovely warm towels and robes ready and waiting for you when you get out.

Let the relaxation of the warm Hot Tub waters, the comfort of Sundance Spas ergonomic seating, the pain relieving hydrotherapy jets and the soothing sound of the rain drops falling around you wash away the stress of your day and get you ready for an awesome night's sleep!
