MicroClean Filtration for Easy Maintenance

When you purchase a hot tub, it makes sense to buy one that needs as little time and effort spent maintaining it as possible - You are buying a hot tub to reduce the stress in your life not add to your workload!

Sundance Spas patented MicroClean water management system ensures the cleanest, purest hot tub water possible, with the minimum amount of chemicals and maintenance required.

As you picture yourself enjoying family time in your new Sundance hot tub or settling in for relaxing hydrotherapy, there is one thing you surely desire: crystal clear, clean, fresh hot water.

MicroClean Filters are designed to remove the lotions, oils and other products that are deposited in the hot tub after use, which means less chemical use and less hassle for you.

This exclusive water management system works together with our ClearRay UV-C Water Purification System to remove contaminants from the water so it is always clean and ready for you to use.

Filtration is Vital

Your hot tub filters are working all the time to keep your water free of debris, lotions, oils, products from our bodies and anything we introduce to the hot tub's water.

The filter on a hot tub is very important and can often be overlooked when people are considering which hot tub to purchase. Please keep in mind that if your hot tub water is smelly, cloudy, dirty or foamy you won't be out there enjoying it - Filtration is vital to the upkeep and continued enjoyment of your investment!

If you are in a hot tub store and the filtration system is barely talked about, then it is very likely that the manufacturer only offers a traditional paper pleated filter which is used on most hot tubs in the industry today.

The Sundance Spas patented MicroClean water management system raises the bar on traditional filtration through the efficient combination of highly effective debris removal, increased water circulation and a unique horizontal orienation that provides much broader coverage than a standard upright filter.

SlipStream Skimmer

Sundance Hot Tubs 20” Floating Slipstream Skimmer effectively removes surface debris, by drawing water from a much larger area than traditional hot tub filter systems. This wide filtration area means that impurities and debris such as oils and lotions are being removed from the surface area of the water far more quickly than a traditional hot tub filter.

One of the advantages of such a wide skimmer is that oils, lotions and organic products are removed so quickly that they don’t have time to stick to the hot tubs surface and form an ugly “bath tub ring” on your spa. It also reduces the likelihood of foam and suds forming, or the water getting an "oil-slick" appearance on the surface which can be off putting to some users.

The floating slipstream skimmer lowers to increase flow over the filters when the hot tubs jets are in use and provides greater access to the MicroClean Filtration System for maximum filtration performance. SlipStream Skimmers are standard on all 780, 880 & 980 Sundance hot tubs.

MicroClean 1 Filtration

All 780 Series Sundance hot tubs are equipped with the horizontal MicroClean1 Filtration System.

This 2 Part System includes a disposable high-spun polypropylene Microfiber filter that removes the smallest debris for greater water clarity.

The MicroClean filter captures tiny particles, measuring as small as only one thousandth of a millimeter, which is 30 times smaller than a paper cartridge hot tub filter can deal with.

As The Micro1 Filter can effectively deal with such a fine particulate, you can keep your Sundance hot tub's water sparkling without pouring in lots of extra chemicals.

Products such as clarifiers, flocking agents, coagulants or enzymes are normally required to clump small particles together so they are big enough to be caught in a standard pleated filter. These prodcuts are not required if a MicroClean filtration system is in place, saving you time, effort and money.

The ground breaking MicroClean Filter was the first FDA (Food and Drug Administration) compliant and NSF (National Sanitization Foundation) Certified filter in the hot tub industry.

The large, 75 Sq. Ft horizontal Pleated Cartridge Filter that is attached to the Micro1 is washable for a long life and provides extra filtration when you need it most, when you are enjoying your hot tub.

MicroUltra Filtration

All 880 & 980 Series Sundance hot tubs come equipped with MicroUltra Filtration.

This exclusive, advanced dual-stage interlocking horizontal filtration system means that finer particles are trapped in an inner Micro Core filter after passing through an outer pleated filter, which has caught the larger particles.

Our MicroUlttra system provides robust, efficient hot tub filtration, using technology similar to that used in popular home drinking water filters.

The MicroUltra System surpasses even the Micro1 Filter by providing more filter area, as the MicroUltra Inner Core Filter, made of 100% melt blown polypropylene, sits inside the pleated outer filter.

A variable density construction is used on the MicroUltra Inner Core, which uses the entire depth of the filter to trap sediment and debris – This results in a higher dirt and debris holding capacity.

MicroUltra Dual Stage Filtration is capable of filtering more water more thoroughly in less time, and therefore towers above all other hot tub water treatment systems for ensuring pure, clear, safe water with low maintenance and decreased chemical usage.

Clean, Clear Water - Instantly

Your hot tub filters are the first and most important measure of protection for your hot tub. Without them, you won’t be able to maintain clean water or hygienic conditions to soak in.
